Introduction

When the P-47 Thunderbolt initially showed up in the European theater of World War II, its rotund fuselage quickly made it the nickname “The Jug”. It wasn’t long, however, prior to this ended up being short for “Juggernaut”. Built like a 400-mph flying tank, it packed the wallop of eight .50 caliber gatling gun and carried adequate bombs and rockets to wipe a ground target clean off the map.

This stunning 1.2m reproduction of the razorback P-47D completely catches the power and presence of this unique warbird. And due to the fact that it comes geared up with an AS3X® receiver that features optional SAFE® Select technology, pilots of practically any skill level will discover it’s as much fun to fly as it is to take a look at.

Practical Flaps and Retractable Landing Gear
In addition to its numerous other scale information, the design comes out of package with functional flaps and electric retracts that are already set up for you. Details on the landing gear struts and wheels add to the realism.

An Amazing Level of Information
You will have a tough time finding another RC reproduction of this renowned warbird that looks as great as this one. The skillfully used trim scheme is that of a P-47 that flew with the 510th Sq., 405th Fighter Group during World War II. It is matched by molded panel lines and gatling gun information as well as engine information in the nose.

You also get a selection of payloads you can connect to mounting stations under the wings and fuselage. These include 2 bombs, 2 rocket pods and a centerline drop tank. All snap into location and can be attached or eliminated in seconds, no tools or glue needed.

Powerful 15-Size BL Motor with a 4-Blade Prop and 40A ESC
This high-output motor system delivers thrilling speed and climb efficiency when matched with a 2200mAh 3S 11.1V 30C LiPo battery (EFLB22003S30 recommended - sold separately). The effective 4-blade prop also acts as one of the design’s sensible scale information.

AS3X® Receiver with Optional SAFE® Select Innovation
The design’s AS3X (Synthetic Stabilization – 3-aXis) receiver works behind the scenes to smooth out the results of wind and turbulence so you take pleasure in a sense of stability and precision that makes you seem like you’re flying a larger, skillfully tuned aircraft.

If you’re brand-new to flying scale aircraft or desire an extra margin of safety while acquainting yourself with the plane, you have the choice of allowing SAFE Select features like self-leveling and angle limits. No shows is needed. All you do is alter the binding series as directed in the handbook.

If you don’t want to enable the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver generally and it will work like a basic AS3X receiver. You can even fine-tune its AS3X settings if you have the Spektrum shows interface and a compatible shows cable (both readily available separately).

With SAFE Select features allowed, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent extreme climb or dive angles during launch and landing.

Automatic Self-Leveling
Instantly returns the wings to level when the sticks are launched.

Easy Change Assignment – No Programs Required
The basic procedure for designating a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off doesn't require any shows and takes simply a few seconds.
