Colts Design 1908 Vest Pocket .25 ACP pistol (or Design N as it was referred to internally by the Colt factory) is perhaps among the more fascinating Colt designs to collect. It was produced from 1908 up until just after WWII, with the last pistol being delivered in 1948. Throughout production, there were a substantial number of basic production and factory decorated variations of this design. Due to its size and little caliber, there is a fairly high survival rate of Vest Pocket .25s in better than average condition.

Until The second world war, the Colt 1908 Vest Pocket was Colts fifth most popular design. It was just outshined by the 1903 .32 ACP and Design of 1911 U.S. Army .45 ACP automated handguns and the Official Authorities and Authorities Favorable Special revolvers, 4 designs for which there were big military agreements and cops orders.
