J Concepts Rm2 Clear Differential Lube

JConcepts, together with RM2 bring you the current lubricant for RC ball differentials. On the race course, the ball diff is still heavily used and the most popular form of power transfer from the gear box to drive-shafts and is almost exclusively used on dirt track conditions. Ryan Maifield has a requirement for speed, and on the dirt track, it is necessary to have a smooth working, long lasting drive system that can manage the most extreme conditions.

The RM2 clear diff lube is a choice for racers aiming to tame the power and supply the necessary drive and velocity necessary to win at the highest level. During a fresh build or re-build, use the clear lube into the primary gear diff-ball holes and then install the (not consisted of) diff balls. After popping the diff balls down into location inside the gear, use another layer of clear lube over the leading to cover and smooth the area. Keep in mind, use a liberal quantity but enough to fill the voids and put together the remainder of the diff.

Once totally assembled, follow the diff user's manual on conclusion of the build and setting the diff for racing action. Ryan advises a tight preliminary and after setting. Set up in the vehicle and perform 20-30 2nd break-in while holding the vehicle in the pit area and alternating in between holding the left and best tires while powering the vehicle at a sluggish speed. At that time, snug the diff adjustment back up a little and look for a somewhat less than total revolution while by hand spinning the diff action with the tires on the car.
