The Castle Sidewinder 8th 1/8 Scale Sensorless Brushless ESC is an 1:8 scale sport level ESC that is best for entry level weekend bashers, or severe road warriors looking for the benefits of an economical brushless upgrade. Efficient In 2-6S LiPo operation with an 8 amp peak BEC, the Sidewinder 8th is the best upgrade for 1:8 scale buggies, truggies and other vehicles weighing approximately 11 lbs that need more power. It is likewise a great upgrade for some 4WD brief course trucks running on 3S or 4S.

Product Use Statements:

Although Sidewinder 8 is water resistant, it is not intended for operation while totally immersed in liquid. Constantly wash the ESC and motor with clean water after direct exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the motor and controller may be water resistant, we recommend users confirm that the rest of their car, consisting of the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are likewise water resistant prior to exposing them to liquids of any kind.
The cooling fan need to be gotten rid of prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.
