Castle Creations Sensored 1412-6400Kv 4-Pole Brushless Motor

Castle is excited to introduce their newest offering to the drag racing scene. The 1412-6400kv motor is an extremely high torque, high wattage, mid-RPM motor designed for 2s no preparation Street Remover racing.

They chose a somewhat various approach than existing motors on the marketplace. The majority of no preparation motors are standard 540 size with extremely high kv (low turn). These motors count on high RPM and low torque to press the vehicle down the track (think turbo charged 4 cylinder). The 1412 is longer than a lot of drag motors, which supplies substantially more torque, acceleration, and cooler temps (think American Muscle). This leads to a high horsepower, snappy, cool running motor. Your last drive ratio will need to be decreased (bigger pinion/smaller spur) to get the RPMs up for top speed; due to the size of the motor it will take just about any gearing and CHEAT timing you can throw at it.

They beefed up the design over a basic 14xx series motor to deal with the high needs of drag racing. It uses a 5mm output shaft, 10AWG battery wires and 6.5mm bullets. Due to the high power nature of this motor it is highly advised to utilize a 1/8th scale size ESC or bigger. The 1/8th Mamba Beast X and 1/6th scale Mamba Beast X eights are fantastic pairings with this motor.
