The RTR Lynx ORV has all the features you would expect of a rig of this type. It's designed around a steel 'C' area ladder chassis, has a detailed body, and is designed to be the beginning point for anyone wanting to enter into this interesting and vibrant sector of RC at an affordable cost. It's not a competition rig; it does not have any expensive tricks or technology, but it is a robust, well-designed and evaluated one-box solution. Just charge the pack and hit the road. It actually is as basic as that. However looks can be deceiving: Beneath the downplayed shell is a full steel Universal Joint-equipped driveline with a locked-axle transmission to produce optimum traction from the slipper clutch protected transmission, right through to the wheels and tires. A 35T brushed motor offers the best balance between torque and RPM, and true 4-link double triangulated link geometry is used to lessen axle guide. The high torque, axle installed servo can be chassis installed in the future if so wanted, and the waterproof electronic speed control is programmable for both NiMH and LiPo use, with a spider mode set as its default which offers immediate reverse and always-on drag brakes. The high grip 1.9" off-road tires are fitted to real beadlock wheels permitting the owner to tweak the rig's weight predisposition for crawling by adding stick on wheel weights. For enjoyable and trail-only use, the rig's stock setup is just best. The front bumper is winch-ready, and the shell is designed to accommodate an LED package to add that additional touch of scale realism and permit night runs. Scale, Trail, Crawl.
