Overview
Out of package, the SCX10™ III Jeep® JLU Wrangler transmission includes a third-channel DIG function that lets you lock the rear axle from the transmitter for front wheel drive and a tighter turning radius. As an alternative, you can set up the car with a two-speed transmission rather and select in between low and high speeds. If you want to utilize both the two-speed transmission and DIG function, simply add another servo and a radio with at least four channels (such as the 5-channel Spektrum™ DX5).
The SCX10™ III Jeep® JLU Wrangler utilizes portal axles to improve efficiency by increasing the ground clearance and reducing torque twist. Its basic battery tray accepts full-size "basic" LiPo or NiMH packs. There's space on the side rails too for drivers who prefer smaller packs. MULTIPLE BATTERY MOUNTING LOCATIONS

DIG TRANSMISSION WITH TWO-SPEED OPTION
The transmission arrives set up with a DIG function for locking the rear axle from the transmitter, giving you the tight turning radius of front wheel drive as needed — Micro Dig Servo (SPMSSX107) included! You can also pick to set up the car for a two-speed transmission rather, by taking the included Micro Dig Servo and moving it to the two-speed linkage.
