Overview
Quick, rugged and factory-built, the TWO LiPo-compatible ARRMA® SENTON™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes ready to bash on any terrain. This version of the Short Course truck includes brand-new devices that improves on the original’s currently remarkable performance and durability.
The SENTON™ 4X4 MEGA RTR Short Course truck is DEVELOPED QUICKLY, DEVELOPED HARD — developed for exciting slamming speeds and extreme, all-terrain durability. New includes to enhance its unstoppable performance include a more powerful chassis and kept hinge pin plates; guiding with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber shielded bearings throughout.
The Short Course truck now also includes the Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically created for extended periods of fatigue-free driving and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control plus an improved hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will be able to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% till they are ready to utilize the complete speed capacity. The SLT3™ is compatible with Method® SLT™ receivers to run other RTR lorries you might own, and includes a third channel to control optional functions such as lights and winches on designs that have them.
It retains the ingenious modular design perfected by ARRMA® engineers for simple component access and maintenance. The power module, with improved dirt management, includes a MEGA 550 motor, motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be removed from the chassis as a total system by eliminating just one screw. With the power module eliminated, the slipper clutch can be reached quickly for adjustments by getting three screws that connect the gear cover. The gear ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now utilizes a sliding motor mesh design.
A two-piece molding screwed to the truck’s chassis works as its electronic devices module, including a water resistant receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver installs inside the receiver box for security from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, permitting fast access to the on/off switch, while the servo installs to the side. Several battery types can be utilized with the hook-and-loop mounting, from 6-cell NiMH packs to a TWO block pack. This version includes a Dynamite® 3300 mAh 8.4V 7-cell Speedpack® 2 Hump NiMH battery that provides 35% more run time compared to the 2400mAh pack of its predecessor.
