Overview
Fast, rugged and factory-built, the TWO LiPo-compatible ARRMA® GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes ready to slam in any surface. This version features new devices that further increases the original monster truck’s already impressive performance and durability.

The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR Monster Truck is DEVELOPED FAST, DEVELOPED HARD — built for interesting bashing speeds and extreme, all-terrain toughness. New features to improve its unstoppable performance consist of a more powerful chassis and kept hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and moving gear mesh; and rubber shielded bearings throughout.

The monster truck now also consists of the Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long periods of fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for exact fingertip control plus an improved hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will be able to set throttle limitations at 50% or 75% until they are ready to use the full speed potential. The SLT3™ works with Method® SLT™ receivers to run other RTR lorries you may own, and consists of a 3rd channel to manage optional functions such as lights and winches on models that have them.

It retains the innovative modular style perfected by ARRMA® engineers for easy element access and maintenance. The power module, with enhanced dirt management, includes a MEGA 550 motor, motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be separated from the chassis as a complete unit by getting rid of just one screw. With the power module got rid of, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for adjustments by taking out 3 screws that connect the gear cover. The gear ratio can be carefully tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design.

Tough, multi-spoke black MT wheels with dBoots® Fortress™ MT tires offer the GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR effective traction for bashing on almost any surface. Numerous battery types can be used with the hook-and-loop installing, from 6-cell NiMH packs to a 2S block pack. This version features a Dynamite® 3300 mAh 8.4V 7-cell Speedpack® 2 Hump NiMH battery that provides 35% more run time compared to the 2400mAh pack of its predecessor.
