If the aircraft must land or crash in an unexpected area and become lost, the pilot can allow the Airplane Locator Choice. The Airplane Locator Choice is engaged by shutting off the transmitter. When the ESC does not receive a signal from the transmitter for 30 seconds, it will start to send out an alarm to the motor. The noise of the alarm will assist the pilot to locate the aircraft. This option will not work with a PCM receiver that has SAVE function allowed, or with low sound resistant PM receivers.
