If the aircraft should land or crash in an unanticipated area and end up being lost, the pilot can allow the Airplane Locator Choice. The Airplane Locator Choice is engaged by turning off the transmitter. When the ESC does not receive a signal from the transmitter for 30 seconds, it will begin to send out an alarm to the motor. The sound of the alarm will aid the pilot to find the aircraft. This choice will not work with a PCM receiver that has SAVE function allowed, or with low noise resistant PM receivers.
